5月9-10日，由上海财经大学经济学院、碳中和金融研究院和数理经济学教育部重点实验室联合主办的“2024上财资源与环境经济学前沿研讨会”在上海财经大学经济学院成功举办。来自北卡罗莱纳州立大学、香港大学、香港科技大学、北京大学、清华大学、中国人民大学、东北大学、浙江大学、暨南大学、西南财经大学、武汉大学、昆山杜克大学、南京财经大学、南京农业大学等10余所海内外高校及研究机构的20余位学者参会。
上海财经大学经济学院党委书记林立国教授致开幕辞。他代表大会主办方对到会嘉宾表示热烈欢迎，并表示资源与环境可持续发展是当前国际社会面临的共同挑战，希望本次会议能更好地搭建资源与环境经济学研究前沿讨论的平台，增进学术交流与合作。林书记还提到，经济学院最近新成立了资源环境系，欢迎到会的专家学者对该系人才引进及发展建设积极建言献策。
论文报告环节，共13位学者报告了资源与环境经济学领域的前沿研究。
何国俊（香港大学）分享了题为“Locusts Fly, Babies Die: Desert Locusts and Infant Mortality in Sub-Saharan African Countries”的报告。
陈晓光（西南财经大学）分享了题为“Impacts of Ozone Pollution on Agricultural Productivity and Farm Income”的报告。
张炳（南京财经大学）分享了题为“I Am Watching You: Continuous Emission Monitoring System and Corporate Environmental Performance”的报告。
龚斌磊（浙江大学）分享了题为“Transformation of Government Performance Evaluation System and Coordinated Urban-Rural Development”的报告。
侯玲玲（北京大学）分享了题为“Property Rights Reform, Land Rental Markets and Resource Misallocation: Empirical Evidence from Herders in the Pastoral Area of China”的报告。
张达（清华大学）分享了题为“A Wind Tunnel Test of Alternative Emissions Trading Schemes: A Large-scale Lab-in-the-field Experiment from China”的报告。
