The 4th Annual Conference of Chinese Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (CAERE)

The Chinese Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (CAERE) will host its 4th Annual Conference in Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai, China on May 17th and 18th, 2025. CAERE is a nonprofit professional organization, promoting research cooperation and academic exchange worldwide in the areas of environmental, climate, ecological and resource economics.
The in-person conference will cover a broad spectrum of topics in environmental, resource, ecological and climate economics. No geographical constraints are imposed on whether presenters are currently based, and the presentations can focus on China as well as any other country/region. Both theoretical and empirical studies are welcome.
Submissions should be sent with either full papers or extended abstracts in PDF version, together with ashort bio and contact information of the presenter, to caere2025@mail.shufe.edu.cn. Both English and Chinese languages are acceptable. The email’s subject should be in the format of “First author name – Paper title”.
Those who need a visa to visit China are strongly encouraged to start the visa application process early. An invitation letter can be available upon request.
