The Chinese Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (CAERE) will host its 4th Annual Conference in Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai, China on May 17th and 18th, 2025.


The in-person conference will cover a broad spectrum of topics in environmental, resource, ecological and climate economics. No geographical constraints are imposed on whether presenters are currently based, and the presentations can focus on China as well as any other country/region. Both theoretical and empirical studies are welcome.


Submissions should be sent with either full papers or extended abstracts in PDF version, together with contact information of the presenter, to caere2025@mail.shufe.edu.cn


Both English and Chinese languages are acceptable. The email’s subject should be in the format of “First author name – Paper title”.


The conference does not charge a registration fee. Participants are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation expenses.
