Personal Profile

Kyung Min Kang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Economics at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. His research interests are in the areas of labor economics and applied microeconometrics, with a special focus on human capital investment during adolescence. His studies how various factors, including expectations, college quality, and parental decisions affect college completion and returns to education. Part of his research also focuses on program evaluation, for example, SNAP and the NSLP.
