美国西北大学博士，美国斯坦福大学经济系终身教授，美国人文与科学院院士，上海财经大学经济学院特聘教授。研究领域：Greif教授主要致力于经济史研究，是经济史和制度经济学的著名国际学者，历史制度分析方法的开创者。Greif教授最近的研究兴趣为中西方比较，特别对中国经济史感兴趣。已经在American Economic Review（AER）和Journal of Political Economy（JPE）等国际顶尖期刊发表论文10余篇。
