【摘要/Abstract】 This lecture will be divided in 4 parts and a conclusion. The first part deals with the Rise of Imperialism in the end of the nineteenth century up to the first World War (1914-1918). The second one is the Imperialist counter-revolution, from 1918 to 1945, against Soviet Russia and China with the contradictory help of German Nazi and Japanese Shintoist. The third one deals with the transformation of Imperialism through the independence of colonies, and the clear struggle between North America and Soviet Union. America becomes the leader of all the capitalist developed countries (1945-1970). The fourth one is the climax of Imperialism under the leadership of North America (from 1970 to 2008), the failure of Soviet Union in 1990, and a systematic although contradictory development of a World global and financial economy. The conclusion of this lecture is to stress upon the deep crisis of today Imperialism, and the possibility of its peaceful decline under the push of new social forces in the world, particularly China, but also undeveloped countries wanting to develop.
